Chess Club is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for all artists, employees, and guests. The venue strictly prohibits discrimination or harassment in any form.
Chess Club does not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, creed, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, immigration status, socioeconomic background, or any other characteristic protected by law.
This policy applies to all aspects of venue operations, including employment practices, artist booking, program participation, vendor relationships, and public access to events. Chess Club is dedicated to providing equal opportunity, maintaining accessible facilities, and ensuring that all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
Violations of this policy are addressed promptly and may result in corrective action, removal from the premises, or termination of contracts or partnerships, as appropriate.
Special Access / Mobility Impaired
For special access or mobility accommodations, please contact bookingchessclub@gmail.com to discuss your access in advance of attending a show. We’ll assist in accommodating your needs.
The Chess Club team is trained and supports all accessibility requests, and accommodates based on a case by case basis. We offer staff support at the door and special viewing areas as requested

STUDENTS, SENIORS, Creative Industry workers and Veterans: contact [email protected] for a discount code when purchasing advance tickets! (Discount may not be applicable for all shows). If you do not fit into these categories but wish to have a discounted ticket rate, contact us at [email protected].

Does Chess Club support local Austin artists and musicians?
Yes! We annually book over 80% local talent for our shows. We book local talent as support for any touring artist that plays our venue.
